Chapter 98 Feeling good

Verse 1

We are both feeling good today which is not something you might have expected from being at wedding-party yesterday and getting to bed at 3 am.
As we didn't attend the ceremony we met up with some others before going to the party and had dinner at a nearby restaurant called San Marco.
We were all very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food as well the friendly and competent service. Well worth a visit!

The party itself was held at Edsbergs Slott and there was a rock and blues-festival right nearby so we had a wide choice of music to enjoy. All in all a very nice Saturday and my hat from Chapter 97 was a great hit!

Verse 1

Yesterday we went out for dinner at Tiffanys on Götgatan. It's a place where i always can recommend the beef and my friends agree. The service is always friendly and as fast as can be reasonably expected.
Before we met up i took the opportunity to go into Hattbaren and look around. I have been thinking about getting a hat for quite some time now and yesterday i finally did.

Many hats of this type can be rolled up but not this one. I might have to try and remember that. I also learned that the hat is made of furfelt, we need not go into what kind of fur.

A hat is one of three things i have always felt was missing somehow and now the time was right to get one, the other two things might have to wait awhile longer until the world is ready but i will mention them.

A cloak. Those who have done some LARP-ing in a fantasy setting will instantly understand why a cloak is on the list.
A more practical and useful piece of clothing is hard to imagine. You can actually see people wearing cloaks now and then but no, i will wait.

The third item is the utilitybelt. A belt especially made with a number of pockets and pouches would save us from having to stuff our pants-pockets with keys, cellphones, pens and all the other things we carry around with us.
No more handbags or backpacks, just a trusty utilitybelt instead and that this is useful is evident in the number of accessories that exist to attach to your regular belt.

You can get a pouch for your camera, the cellphone, waterbottle and so on. The idea of a utilitybelt is here and in the near future we might see them on the catwalk.

This book i got some years ago from my girlfriend at the time, that apparently had some idea of what i would like and i have to say i enjoyed it.

It is a funny book perhaps written for a younger reader but i am not at all surprised that "grown-ups" find it enjoyable too.

I will not go into details but read it with an open mind and i am sure that you will be reminded of your own teenage years.

Will be given away today, a rainy Wednesday at Farsta Centrum, sometime during the next 3 hours.

Chapter 95 Finally!

Verse 1

I will at last start something similar to what i have been thinking about doing for many years.
Some might be familiar with this phenomenon: Bookcrossing.

I stumbled upon it by accident a long time ago and actually gave it a try because i love the idea.

For some reason, i can't remember exactly what but either the process or layout was unappealing and i gave it up but the idea is still wonderful.
Give the books you don't want to keep away and hopefully the new owners will let you know what they thought of them!

So... Now i will start doing just that. I will post something about a book and some details about the giving away of it and just maybe there will be some comments on it later on.
