What's up with autumn? Did i miss it all or isn't it supposed to be filled with vibrant colors and crisp but invigorating cold?
The trees should be full of fire as the leaves change color and the ground littered with the ones that gave up the ghost just then making noises at you as you pass by their rustling remains.
But no!
The sky is grey, uniform grey not an interesting shifting mood-inspiring range from misty to slate but dull and depressing.
The asphalt is grey, grey and wet. You would expect it to be black from rain but no. It is wet from rain but also grey, the kind of grey a long queue would be if it had color. I am talking about the kind of queue you dread to join, not the one were there is fun at the end and happy people to meet while you wait.
This line leads to an over-worked under-payed civil servant who will tell you that you have filled out the wrong form and should start over...at the end of the line.
I will now venture out in to this and do my best not add to the leaden joy-killing grey that surrounds me.
This post is a good start don't you think?
