I believe this is yet another book from the english bookclub i was a member of many years ago where i too often forget to cancel the editor's choice.
Probably you have all seen the movie called The Silence Of The Lambs starring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins, this book is a sequel and was also filmed but then with Julianne Moore instead of Foster.
A bad change in my opinion.

The Silence Of The Lambs is both a better book and movie than Hannibal but if you are looking for something to idly pass your time with this book can work for you.
