Chapter 72 Grand opening

Verse 1

Yesterday we went to Grönan on it's opening day and start of season with VIP-tickets.
There were quite a lot of people and more than one well-known face.
We took a few rides and a bite to eat. It was kinda interesting at the restaurant where it was hard for many to get a table because even though it was less than half-full the staff refused to let people in, all the while claiming all seats were reserved. With our VIP-card we got at table without any major problems and while service was a bit new to the job, the food was ok.

Verse 2

Today some flowers were planted in pots on the balcony that will make for some pleasant greenery as soon as they take hold. The chili i planted some weeks ago are still alive although no more than a couple of centimetres high, it will be fun to watch to progress of this botanical initative.

Chapter 71 One year

Verse 1

Last Thursday we celebrated the one year anniversary since the big takeover.
Speech, food, beer and cake. A fun evening that ended with all of us going bowling.
Bowling and beer go well together funwise, it is not conducive to great scores though.
All in all a fun evening that i think some of us paid the price for came Friday.


Verse 2

Yesterday i rigged the barbecue so i am all set for a sunny and varm weekend, make it happen!

Chapter 69 Gathering

Verse 1

I bought three new pairs of shoes and a barbecue this weekend, connecting those dots and getting the bigger picture is beyond me.
One pair is for the event that is now just two months away. Then i'm off to Greece and Corfu, i am invited to a Greek wedding! Just to say the words "Greek wedding" is exciting and fun, i am really looking forward to it and i still haven't promised not to give a speech. Beware bride to be!

Chapter 68 Good life

Verse 1

I was recently reminded that Christmas have lasted longer than might be expected and what can you expect when life fill your stockings with both lumps of coal and pleasant surprises. Time passes quickly occasionally and you got to deal with both, tick tock

Chapter 67 Huh?

Verse 1

So Easter is s good as over and it has been kind of weird. One day we had snow falling from a clear sky and another we could sit on the balcony and bask in the sun. Greenhouse-effect anyone?
Be it with that as it may we still managed to down a beer sitting outside in the sun and the slightly too chilly wind. That officially means that Spring is here, that the warmth is a bit delayed is not relevant but it would be appreciated if the temperature rose a bit now.

Chapter 66 Spring!!!

What to say...
Spring is just around the corner and the very first beer not drunk while cooped up inside is not far off.
Easter is also coming up but i am looking forward to Spring more, i don't like eggs that much but the extra days off work sure are welcome.
