Chapter 45 A couple of days off

Verse 1

I have just pulled of a stretch of ten straight days of work.
It was my first weekend of work at the new place and even though it was kind of relaxing to work when it was just me and a couple of other guys at the office, it's nice to know that we don't work weekends much.
I have had more than my fair share of that over the years.

Verse 2

One thing that needs to be said about working weekends at this job is that you get two extra days off the following week, and this is day one of those and it's very nice to know that there are more to come.
