Chapter 30 Creed

Verse 1

I have touched upon this subject before but will do so again.
What a lot of people need and what society as a whole is sorely missing is a creed or a code to live by. A man named Druss had this one
Never violate a woman nor harm a child. Do not lie, cheat or steal. These things are for lesser men. Protect the weak against the evil strong. And never allow thoughts of gain to lead you into the pursuit of evil."
The language is perhaps different from what you yourself would use but the points are sound and the world would be a better place for their adhering to.

Verse 2

I don't have a list such as the one Druss had but there are a few principles that i try to live by and that influence me. I don't reach the moral highground of Druss but i have my foot on the ladder and consider myself to be a fairly decent person.
If intent is half the action, good intentions pave the way to good actions and that cant be bad:

Chapter 29 Stupid arrangement

Verse 1

How is it that all the things that taste good are bad for you?
French fries, beer, all kinds of snacks and a lot of other stuff. Almost anything that you care to name that is tasty and enjoyable will most likely kill you after driving you mad through years of excruciating pain.
No that is of course not entirely true but it sure sounds like it if you listen to the so called experts sometimes.
Most likely its true that too much sugar or salt in your diet can cause problems but so can many other things if you consume it in excess. But the facts are not what this is about here today.
Change is.

Verse 2

I would like a change in the way it works. Things that are good and tasty should be good for you and beneficial to your health.
In the interest of fairness and in view of the fact that some people like weird things i am able to agree to a change based on individual tastes.
If you for some reason think that broccoli is yummy then it should also be good for you, whereas coca cola and red meat would do wonders for me.
Don't you think that this would be a much nicer state of affairs?

Chapter 28 Brr!

Verse 1

I just have one thing to say now, i do so not approve of it getting colder day by day! People that say that its nice to experience different seasons and all that stuff can change places with me any day.
I think i would enjoy very much the climate that can be found in more southern regions of the world. Give me 6 months with an average temperature of 20 degrees centigrade 3 more at 25-30 and the last 3 can be more autumnlike at 15 degrees.

Verse 2

Its better to hit the beach than being hit by frostbite.

Chapter 27 Announcement!

Verse 1

Currently in the pipeline is Vault, a place where i will put up photographs from parties, events of different kinds and other occasions of a photogenic quality.
Some occasions will of course be more photogenic than others or rather some motifs are, but fortunately for you i try my best to stay behind the camera as much as i can.

Verse 2

If you see photos there that you would like copies of, don't hesitate to let me know.

Chapter 26 Heads up!

Verse 1

I want to take this opportunity to point out that the Christmas-season is approaching with an alarming speed. It is recommended that you take proper caution and that all safety measures are put into effect.
A surfeit of sugar, tinsel and Christmas-carols is due to sweep us off our feet and bury us in an avalanche of commercialism.
I don't mean to say that Christmas doesn't have its highlights but exposed to all the stress, underlying meanness and anxiety as i am working in a store, its hard not to see that Christmas brings out a lot of the bad in people.

Verse 2

With that being said i am sure i would appreciate the whole season a great deal more if i would get the chance to actually enjoy it some without having to work through it all.
Being off work for some 5-7 days during the holidays is probably a great way to get into that Christmas spirit that everybody is talking about. Being a child a and unable to puzzle together your father going out to buy the paper in the raging blizzard with Santa walking in shortly thereafter is probably also beneficial for the enjoyment of Christmas.
I cant remember seeing Santa while being young enough to believe in the concept, i can remember his visits to my siblings though. Strange that.

Verse 3

Wishlist:
Redeemable "C" and some "Good things".
See Chapter 2 and Chapter 24 . If you can get me these things for my stocking i will gladly dance around the Christmas-tree naked with bells a-jingling!
